Shipping Information

Velvet Ribbon Baskets offers three shipping options for delivery within the U.S. If you need to send a basket to Alaska or Hawaii, please call us for pricing. At this time, we are unable to ship to international addresses, P.O. boxes, APO addresses or US territories. The shipping charges below are for each basket ordered. Each gift basket will be packaged and shipped individually to ensure quality and appearance upon arrival.

Shipping Method Transit Times

• Standard: arrives in 1-7 business days from date shipped, excluding weekends and holidays. Here is a map that shows average delivery times
• 2nd Business Day: arrives in 2 business days from date shipped, excluding weekends and holidays
• Next Day Service: arrives on the next business day from date shipped, excluding weekends and holidays

Shipping Details

• All orders require one to three business days to process before shipping. If processing will exceed three business days for any reason, we will contact you and offer you the opportunity to cancel your order.
• Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays determined by carriers.

Christmas Holiday Shipping Policy - 2007 Season

• From November 26-December 13, processing time for gifts increases. Orders placed during this time-frame will generally take 3-5 business days to process and ship out. The closer it gets to Christmas, various products will become scarce or sold out. We recommend that you place your holiday orders as early as possible to avoid possible disappointment.
• All orders must be placed by Thursday, December 13, 2007 to insure delivery before Christmas. Orders placed after Dec. 13 using standard shipping options are NOT guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas. You may upgrade the shipping service, but please remember that orders will still take a few days to process before shipping out.
• Last day to order using 2nd business day is Dec. 17, 2007.
• Last day to order overnight service is Dec. 18, 2007.
• Fedex will not deliver on Dec. 24 or Dec. 25, as well as Dec. 31 or Jan. 1.
• **We will be closed from Dec. 22, 2007-Jan.1, 2008 for the holiday season.**

Next Day Shipping Option

Please realize that when you choose next day service, that does not mean your order will ship today and arrive tomorrow. Most rush orders will ship one day after placed and arrive the next business day.

Hand Delivery

We can provide hand delivery for much of the Austin area. Please call for local delivery areas and rates. Prices will range from $15 - $50 depending on the travel time and distance. All orders placed online will be shipped via Fedex, due to local delivery cost variations.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Incorrect shipping information may result in the product not being delivered on the designated day. The cost of any reshipped products due to incorrect address information is the sender's responsibility. Therefore, please double check all shipping information carefully, especially zip code information.

Multiple Ship-To Addresses

Use our multiple ship-to capability to send gifts to different addresses, whether you're sending the same gift to everybody or different gifts to each address. Velvet Ribbon Baskets has enhanced this service so that you can take care of all your gift giving in a single checkout. When you add an item to your cart, simply specify for whom the item is intended. During the checkout process, you will be asked to provide detailed shipping information for each recipient.
